Akiko is 19 now. She has spent the last two years on missions and exploring the world. Between her work as a kunoichi and her long-term relationship with Kiyoshi, Akiko has finally matured and acquired the confidence that she was always lacking in her youth. She still tends to be quiet in groups, but the social awkwardness that plagued her is no longer an issue.
